Unfortunately, the world didn’t stop for me to take a breath and so WordPress version 2.8.4 has been out for nearly a month now! But thanks to Matt Mullenweg’s blog post on how to keep WordPress secure I was persuaded to look at my own blog. I suggest you read the article and always upgrade your WordPress-powered blogs to the latest version if you have one. It’s the only guaranteed way to protect your blog anyway.

BBC reports about the recent security flaw discovered in IE that affected at least 10,000 sites since its discovery by hackers. The exploit only steals game passwords for now but could easily be modified to do more damage.

If bad support of web standards is not enough for you to switch to a better browser like Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Opera then I guess this SECURITY FLAW should be it!
