Another new free CSS template release I designed for TheWebHub.com. This two-column, fixed-width design features a big header image from Stock Exchange and 16×16 pixel icons from FAMFAMFAM.com.
The layout is quite typical with content area arranged in a blog style format and a sidebar that can be easily ported to other blogging software such as WordPress. Handmade 1.0 is suitable for small website use or blogs.
As usual, this template is released under the Creative Commons license and you are free to use or modify it for both personal and commercial use. I only ask you to please keep the attribution links found in the footer section of the page. That’s it and have fun!

Welcome to my blog’s new look—BlueSteel! Though still under heavy development, most of the major functionalities and styles are already in place so I took an few minutes to upload it. Some pages still need content but I guess this will do for the moment.
I really hope this to be a good reboot of my forgotten piece of the Web. In the coming weeks there will be regular updates about the things I encounter on a daily basis while working; free XHTML/CSS templates and WordPress themes once in a while.
So comment away and let me know what you think (hint: I might release this theme too if someone is interested

I’ve recently released a free CSS template just to test some things and it went pretty well. It was downloaded several hundred times over the last few days but I totally forgot that I have it linked to this blog.
So for all of you who downloaded and used my template, MANY THANKS! You got me inspired to give my little blog a facelift and so in the comings days I’ll be rolling out the new design of AboutEnjay.com. I also have several new designs for you to get.
I only do this on my spare time so please bear with me while I’m doing some updates…things might break here and there

This is my first publicly released design. Not very impressive but I think this will do for those of you who want dark-themed design that is both simple and functional.
The speeding light streaks at the header was originally a photo I borrowed from NASA. While I do aspire for standards-compliant and backward compatibility, I’ve decided to stop supporting Microsoft’s Internet Explorer version 6.0 due primarily to its lack of PNG support. IE6 bugs and quirks can be easily remedied but the ways to enable PNG support in this ancient browser is just plain crazy.
So from here on forward I’m saying goodbye to IE6 while asking IE6 users to please upgrade to version 7.0 or just replace it with much better browsers like Firefox, Opera or Safari. Internet Explorer is NOT the Internet!

Well, not exactly something new but Google Docs seems to be getting better over time. Just yesterday we were having trouble sharing documents at work and it got me taking a second look at Google Docs as a serious alternative to MS Office. I’ve been using its word processor, spreadsheet and presentation apps for a few months now for private documents and just today I noticed that you can now have offline copies of your files using Google Gears. The need for being constantly connected to use the apps is probably gone and it looks like I could ditch MS Office pretty soon.
I did a quick googling and found out it was announced seven months ago…better late than later eh?
